Membership Categories

Individuals may become members of FASAE under any of the following categories:

1. Regular Member - requires degree in architecture, engineering or related disciplies such as landscape architecture, interior design, urban planning, etc.
2. Associate Member - requires an engineering certification of completion of at least two years of eduction in architecture, engineering or other discipliens as described for regular members.
3. Student Member - requires active enrollment in the fields of study as described for regular member.
4. Auxiliary Member - affiliation with FASAE via participation as a spouse of a regular or associate member.
5. FASAE Emeritus - conferred to a member who is of senior age, has retired from work and has performed outstanding service to FASAE.  Election to this position shall be based on criteria established by two-thirds vote of the Executive Board.

Membership does not confer the title of "architect" and of "engineer" unless qualified by professional licensing laws in effect at the chapter's area of jurisdiction.
