About FASAE
FASAE is committed to the empowerment of Filipino American architects, engineers, scientists and related
professionals, as well as their professional business, social, cultural and personal development.
The Filipino American Society of Architects and Engineers was founded in 1976 by professionals who felt the need to unify and strengthen themselves individually and collectively. FASAE as it is commonly called was incorporated as a California non-profit organization in 1977.
In its formative years, FASAE has advanced tremendously towards the fulfillment of its goals and objectives. Due to its increased growth in membership and the need to adept to its changing status, more programs are being installed.
Through the years of its existence FASAE has offered increased opportunities for development of its members,
professionally and individuality. FASAE has proven its effectiveness in becoming worthy of its purpose and
objectives. It provides a vehicle for Filipino American professionals to unite their talents and energies to attain
common objectives.

- To identify the personal goals and professional needs of the Filipino American Architects and Engineers.
- To promote unity and strengthen the ties among members through closer interpersonal and professional relationships. This serves as a means to improve the quality of life of Filipino American in the United States.
- To provide encouragement and support to Filipino students and graduates of engineering and architecture to obtain State Board registration.
To fulfill the role and responsibilities of Architects and Engineers in the community.

- For professional growth and development:
- Conduct review classes for State Board Registration
- Job placement network
- Membership in the Toastmaster’s Club International
- Assistance towards choosing second careers.
- For interpersonal skills and organizational activities:
- Annual convention
- Christmas party celebration and summer picnic.
- Newsletter publications.
- Provide Scholarship Fund for deserving high school
students in the areas of the architecture, engineering and computer science.
- For community Activities
- Initiate student chapter of FASAE.
- Establish link and provide a network with other Filipino American Associations.
Participate in community affairs through technical contributions and achievements.
Provide a representative of FASAE interest in public commissions and civic actions.
